The St Francis’ College Felix Arnott lecture this year was to be given by the Right Rev'd Dr Stephen Pickard on Thursday 12 August at 6:30pm on 'Religion, Violence and the Way of Jesus: myth and reality'.

Stephen is Executive Director for the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture; and Director, Public and Contextual Theology Research Centre. He also works as an Assistant Bishop in Canberra Diocese and is on the General Synod's Doctrine Commission. He is staying at SFC as its Scholar-in-Residence for a couple of months from mid-July and will be guest speaker at the Northern and Southern Regional Clergy Conferences.
