Our first in a series of seminars organized in association with Brisbane School of Theology and St Francis College will be given by Rev’d Dr Samuel Goh.

This lecture focuses on the key theme of Ecclesiastes, i.e. Vapour (traditionally translated “Vanity”), and how the Preacher explore the value of knowledge (plus education) through the prism of the theme.

Rev Dr Samuel Goh has a Ph.D. in Old Testament Studies from Queen’s University of Belfast (UK). He was a pastor for 10 years before joining the faculty of Singapore Bible College as Associate Professor of Old Testament (2003-2019), now lecturer in Old Testament at Brisbane School of Theology. He has also authored six books (two English and four Chinese), along with many journal articles and speaks English, Mandarin, Indonesian and Cantonese. He is married to Joyce and they have two grown children.
