North Pine Anglican Church, in partnership with the Matthew Hale Public Library, is thrilled to host ‘Taking Jesus Public’ with Dan Paterson. Author, apologist and accomplished speaker Dan Paterson from Questioning Christianity has a gift for tackling the big questions people face when it comes to Christianity. He’s also deeply passionate about equipping others to do the same.
Do you want to have better God conversations? Are you ready to give an answer to those who ask about your faith? This session is designed for Christians to get a healthier grasp on what it means to share their Christian faith in our secular age, equipping them with helpful skills and resources to partner with God in sharing the gospel with their friends and family.
God gives us opportunities every day to have meaningful God conversations with our friends, colleagues and neighbours. The problem is, many of us feel uncertain or even afraid when it comes to working out what to say! Dan will show us some ways to have better God conversations so that we are prepared to take the opportunities we're given to share about Jesus.
As well as being MHPL Ministry Consultant, Dan is the founder of Questioning Christianity, a ministry helping you connect the Christian story to life’s deepest questions. He has experience as a pastor, lecturer, and public speaker, having studied Theology and Apologetics in Australia and at Oxford. He has spoken regularly to audiences across the belief spectrum on how the gospel connects to life’s biggest questions, and on the popular objections to the Christian Faith. He is married to Erin, and with three young sons, Dan loves reading, coffee, movies, the outdoors, and Australian Rules Football.
