Come along and get to know others in local Anglican churches doing mission and ministry to youth, as well as hear from leading Youth Ministry specialists Revd Dr Graham Stanton and Peter Dutton.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Revd Dr Graham Stanton, Youth Ministry expert to lead us as we look at Teaching the Bible with Teenagers, based on a unit from the soon to be released Ridley Certificate in Youth Ministry. Peter Dutton, MHPL Youth Ministry Consultant and Youth Minister at St Bart’s Toowoomba will talk about practical application, how he can help and how we can all help each other to invest in young people.

Youth Ministry is challenging but vital to making a difference for God in the next generations. It is hoped that this event will be helpful to further establish a network of people involved with Youth Ministry in the Diocese.

The general format of the day (subject to change):

10AM - Welcome

10.15AM-12PM: Graham will present a session based on the Ridley Certificate Youth Ministry unit “Teaching the Bible with Teenagers” including coffee and morning tea.

12-1PM: Lunch together

1-2PM: Peter Dutton will lead an interactive discussion on practical application and discussion about Youth Ministry in our local context.

To encourage as many youth leaders as possible, there is no cost for the day, but registrations are required. For this event, all parking fees will we waived at St Andrew’s.
