About Charlie
Charlie has served as rector of All Soul’s Langham Place, London, since 2021. The church is in the heart of London opposite the BBC. It’s also the church where John Stott was rector for several decades.
Before All Soul’s, Charlie served on staff at St Helen’s Bishopsgate or 10 years, where he was the Associate Rector with William Taylor. Charlie is also a committee member of the Evangelical Group of General Synod (EGGS), which exists to “promote the witness of Evangelicals in the life, policy and work of the Synods of the Church of England”. He also represents EGGS at the Church of England Evangelical Council (CEEC), which was founded by John Stott in 1960 to provide a collective evangelical voice in the Church of England.
Charlie is the keynote speaker at the National Evangelical Anglican Conference in Sydney 30th April to 2nd May.
