The Youth Ministry Futures Residential is something different.
It’s more than a conference or a lecture series.

It’s a new gathering of people passionate about Youth Ministry in Australia and beyond. Over 4 days nestled amongst some of the best food + coffee Melbourne has to offer, the program blurs the line between content & community as we immerse ourselves in a week packed with opportunity.

The Revd Ian Powell and Dr Kamina Wust will present on the book of Song of Songs in sermons and lectures.

There will also be a range of seminars to choose from, tackling topics such as Preaching about Gender among Young People, Preaching on Divorce, and Preaching on Men’s and Women’s Roles in a Mixed Congregation. There will be a livestream option as well. 

Ridley Preachers’ Conferences aim to encourage us in our leadership and ministry by focussing on skills for preaching.

Join an enriching experience at the Winter Liturgy School, where we delve into the heart of prayer and worship. This program is designed to deepen your spiritual practice and enhance your understanding of liturgical traditions. Participate in interactive, hands-on workshops that offer practical experience and insights - whether you're experienced or new to the field.

Following Synod’s adjournment on Saturday you are invited to fellowship with other members of Synod for a simple dinner of Pizza, Pasta and wine.

This is a great opportunity to reflect on the business of Synod, but also importantly to come together with friends from across the Diocese to support one another in ministry and importantly share the great work God has been doing in our parishes.

Children’s Ministry training morning – available for leaders and parents. ‘Growing Together’ is an opportunity to be reminded of the importance of your leadership role as well as skills to help you as you disciple young hearts. Whether you are a leader or parent, there will be something for you.
